Our Office

Dr. Piche graduated from the University of Michigan School of dentistry in 1995. He returned to his hometown of Traverse City to join his father in practice. Dr. Piche has continued his learning and training throughout his career, and develop his skills as a physician of the mouth. Dr. Piche has pursued advanced clinical studies throughout his career, beginning with the Dawson Center for Occlusal Studies, LSU Cosmetic Continuum, coursework at the Center for Cosmetic Studies, and completion of the Orognathic Bioesthetic International (OBI) curriculum. Carrying on his father's early decision be an amalgam free office, Dr. Piche is a member of the IAOMT and continues his study and certifications for safe amalgam removal. Along with his clinical care training, Dr. Piche believes honest and caring patient/doctor partnerships are essential to positive long-term health outcomes. It is within these relationships, that Dr. Piche finds his mission in the practice of dentistry. Summed up by these words of Mother Teresa, ``Unless life is lived for others, it is not worthwhile.``

Dr. Olson first attended Michigan Technological University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Professional Biology with a minor in Microbiology in 2015. Outside of his studies Dr. Olson spent time as a Resident Assistant, member of a Genetics Research Team, and was the President of the Lacrosse Club. While there, Dr. Olson also spent some time with Dr. Piche, getting his feet wet in the dental field. From there, Dr. Olson attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2019. While there he participated in external rotations to community clinics in Flint, Saginaw, and Grand Rapids. Dr. Olson joined the practice here in June of 2019 immediately after dental school, and is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Resort District of the Michigan Dental Association. He also volunteers his time as a Steward with the Grand Traverse Land Conservancy.

My name is Trina and I am a dental hygienist for Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson. I have been in the dental field since 2007. My passion for dentistry started at a very young age, I worked as a dental assistant for seven years and then decided to continue my education and became a dental hygienist in 2013. I am very grateful to be working for such an amazing dental office that offers excellent patient care for each individual. My goal as your hygienist is to help encourage you to reach your best dental potential and to provide comfort through quality of care. I was born and raised in southern California and decided to follow my husband back to his home state of Michigan in 2017. We have three children and we are a very active family! We love to go for bike rides, hikes, and summer trips to the beach. We love our life “Up North” and take full advantage of every season Northern Michigan has to offer.

My name is Bonnie and I have been practicing dental hygiene since 2002. I am a Northern Michigan native, and enjoy getting to know people and learning their stories. I graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1998 and an associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2002, worked in Cadillac for 18 years, and joined Dr. Piche’ and Dr. Olson’s office in 2021.
I enjoy helping people reach their goals for a happy and healthy life through applying our ever-growing understanding of the link between oral and systemic health. I find that listening to people and reaching solutions together can make dentistry less intimidating and I want to provide a comfortable experience for each person that visits.
I have two young children, and we spend as much time outside as possible. Hiking, camping, gardening, swimming, sledding, and just wandering in the woods to see what we find are some of our favorite activities at the moment. We live on a mini farm with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and bees. I teach the Cradle Roll/Kindergarten class at my church, and love seeing children growing in their love for Jesus. My life is full and happy, and I look forward to meeting you and learning how I can help you in yours!

Hello! My name is Julie Cederberg and I have lived in northern Michigan my entire life. I began my dental career as a dental assistant and then graduated as Class Salutatorian of Ferris State University's dental hygiene class of 1997. My household consists of my husband, myself, two teenage children, my 89 year old mother, two dogs, a cat and two pet rats. We love spending time at home playing games and having card tournaments, as well as traveling as often as we can. Camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors are a few of our favorite pastimes. We are active in our church and community outreach programs and are on the board of a local bed ministry for children in the community. I have been blessed to be a part of Dr. Piche's and Dr. Olson's team. Our values and missions align in a way I have never experienced before. I have always valued the personal relationships that I have with my patients and firmly believe that, through those relationships, I have the most success in helping them achieve better dental and overall health. Everyone's dental needs and desires are unique and I strive to listen to my patients and help however I can to reach their individual goals.

Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a dental assistant here at Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson's office. I was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan. I am a mother of two beautiful children, one boy and one girl. I enjoy hiking, swimming, doing crafts, and spending time with family and friends. I love to travel as much as I can. I am currently engaged and getting married June 2023.

Hello! My name is Jordan and I am a dental assistant here in Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson’s office. I have completed the dental assistant program through Penn Foster and am a certified X-ray technician through the MDA. My mission as a dental assistant is to help our patients feel as comfortable and happy as they possibly can in our office. I am a proud mom of an almost 2-year-old girl. I love anything outdoors, hiking, boating, and paddle boarding--just to name a few.

Hello! My name is Katelyn and I am a clinical rover here at Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson’s office. I was born and raised in Traverse City and I graduated from St. Francis High School. I love drawing, painting, reading, hiking, and playing frisbee. I plan to earn certification to teach elementary education in the future because of my deep love for children and learning.

Hello! My name is April and I am an administrative assistant for Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson. I have my Associates Degree from Daytona Beach Community College, as I am originally from Florida. I got into the dental field because I love seeing patients leave our office feeling confident and happy with their smile. Our office is a family that has a positive energy that overflows to our patients. The relationships we have built with our patients speaks for itself. The care that Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson provide to our patients is so exciting to see, and it is always amazing to hear how much our team has touched their lives for the better.

Hello! My name is Amy and I am an administrative assistant for Dr. Piche and Dr. Olson. I have been blessed to be a part of this family-oriented team since 2013. I have really enjoyed this customer service environment due to the relationships I build and maintain. What I love most about working here is the realness of our staff relationships. We truly enjoy each other’s company inside the office and out. The fun we have working together is contagious and it’s unlike any other place I have ever worked. I really enjoy being the first point of contact for the patients and giving them a friendly interaction where they feel important and welcomed.
